What is CBD?

Is CBD Legal?
As of late 2019, the general rule for consumers is this: CBD is legal to possess and consume everywhere for adults 18 and over, except Idaho, Iowa, and South Dakota.
Is there THC in Cedar River CBD Products?
The short answer is yes, there is. However CBD products contain less than .3%, a negligible amount. You should not feel high or fail a drug trust. Please remember CBD products affect each person differently and your experience may be different.
Will I fail a drug test?
High-quality Cedar River CBD products have minimal THC and are incredibly unlikely to show up on a drug test. However, it is always a possibility. (Research has shown that people who consume 6 mg of THC per day have a 25% chance of failing a drug test. This translates to about 2,000 mg per day of CBD oil with a THC content of 0.3% or less). All Cedar River Full Spectrum CBD oil in our products has been third party lab tested to show less than the 0.3 percent THC required to pass government testing.
What does full-spectrum oil mean?
The cannabis plant contains a few different types of beneficial compounds other than CBD and THC. It also contains cannabinoids, terpenes and flavanoids. Full spectrum oil means it contains all of these compounds.
What is the entourage effect?
The entourage effect is the theory that the multiple compounds only found in full spectrum CBD mix together for a unique and highly beneficial result.
What is the difference between CBD Oil and Tincture
The difference between CBD oil and CBD tincture is the carrier. CBD oil is CBD that is extracted from the hemp plant and then mixed with MCT oil. The MCT oil acts as a carrier for the CBD. CBD tincture is CBD that is extracted from the hemp plant and then mixed with alcohol. Instead of using oil, tinctures use alcohol as the carrier for the CBD.
