Here at Cedar River we are a part of the process from seed to sale. Our family works along side our Amish families to make sure that you end up with the most natural hemp products possible. The fields are plowed by horse, the seeds are planted and harvested by hand. Finally our plants are hung to dry naturally in our Amish barns.
Once our plants are dried to the perfect moisture level, we use the natural process of extracting the oil from the plant by using only 200 proof "food grade/lab grade ethanol". Then our oil is triple filtered until the alcohol is removed, We are left with high quality full spectrum CBD oil on the market. We send our oil out to be third party tested for purity and potency, so you know that you are getting the absolute best!

There's certain criteria that CBD companies must meet to become certified USDA organic. This includes using organic soil, flower, processing methods and carrier oils. Here at Cedar River CBD we take it a step farther. Our hemp is Amish grown, on land that has never seen harsh chemicals or pesticides. We planted and harvested our hemp alongside Amish farmers

Full-spectrum CBD includes small amounts of all of these compounds: Cannabinoids, Terpenes, Flavonoids and trace amounts of THC (less than .3% and should not cause you to feel 'high' or fail a drug test). Some studies show full spectrum CBD has more benefits when all of the above compounds are present. This theory is called The Entourage Effect

Processing
Processing is how we turn our flower into oil. Our organic flower is dunked into our food grade alcohol. This separates the cannabinoids from the flower. We extract the oil using pressure and heat from a rotary evaporator. We believe this is the most natural and effective way to extract the oil. Once the process is complete, we are left with high quality, full spectrum CBD oil that we use in all our products.
